Once again, Haruto just proves that he has the brains but similar situations must be in order to him to start thinking.
As a fellow otaku, I am deeply saddened over the closing of OneManga.com. I have been to the site since last year, and they have allowed me to go around the world and see manga that I would have never seen on my own resources. This will eventually hurt not just us, but the very beings that wish this to happen. In a tough economic climate, we all need things that can take us away from the fringes of reality. Manga is one of them. I strongly believe that with this move, new manga, in which the future is, will never see the light of day, and be placed into the trash can, making way for more promising projects to suffer the same fate. This will lead to a chain reaction until eventually, people will think of anime the same way Americans treated the gaming industry of the 80s – a passing fad, never to return. This is the future I don’t want to see happen. Manga no longer belongs to the Japanese people. Manga belongs to the world. And if these publishing companies have a heart, they should not be acting like it. Otherwise, somewhere down the road, the sales figures for manga will be as worse than they thought. It’s your call. It’s absolutely your call.
There’s this OneManga Forums member who tries to defend Yuzuki Eba, even though the other 99.9% of otaku who read the Tokyo arc agrees with the opposite. I cannot name said member, but I must say this to him: Yuzuki Eba is NOT a goddess, so stop worshipping her!
She is a EARTHLY BEING who had planned to dump Haruto when his attention went to other girls like Namami, Kikukawa, and Shino; Yuzuki Eba is one who conspired to buy Haruto a shirt that had a secret message that made little sense and would play with Haruto’s mind so bad that he had to go to Tokyo and chase after her; Yuzuki Eba is one who said ‘I do not know you’ ON PURPOSE, when Haruto found out that she was playing nurse to a dying man who needed some female companionship before he dies; Yuzuki Eba is one who convinces this ill man, Kyosuke Kazama, to refrain from taking a potentially life-saving surgery, which drew the ire of his lifelong friend, Kiyomi Asakura. In so doing, In my eyes, Kiyomi responded by giving her the slap that she deserves. For all other members of said forum who think that the slap was needed, but not necessary, I say that’s bull. Yuzuki messed around with Haruto at Hiroshima. Little did Haruto know that this Yuzuki Eba’s feelings for him was JUST ONE BIG STANKING LIE! And she made another lie to cover another lie. Now, she is seeing the reward of her lies: Haruto would leave her life FOREVER. Pending his conversation with Kiyomi. Yes, Yuzuki Eba is NO goddess. In my mind, she is nothing more than a Mitsuko. I have lost all sympathy for a woman who can do this to someone she purports to love. Her day would soon come. Guys like this OM Forums member are almost never challenged. An ego needs to be crushed like this.
