There’s this OneManga Forums member who tries to defend Yuzuki Eba, even though the other 99.9% of otaku who read the Tokyo arc agrees with the opposite. I cannot name said member, but I must say this to him: Yuzuki Eba is NOT a goddess, so stop worshipping her!
She is a EARTHLY BEING who had planned to dump Haruto when his attention went to other girls like Namami, Kikukawa, and Shino; Yuzuki Eba is one who conspired to buy Haruto a shirt that had a secret message that made little sense and would play with Haruto’s mind so bad that he had to go to Tokyo and chase after her; Yuzuki Eba is one who said ‘I do not know you’ ON PURPOSE, when Haruto found out that she was playing nurse to a dying man who needed some female companionship before he dies; Yuzuki Eba is one who convinces this ill man, Kyosuke Kazama, to refrain from taking a potentially life-saving surgery, which drew the ire of his lifelong friend, Kiyomi Asakura. In so doing, In my eyes, Kiyomi responded by giving her the slap that she deserves. For all other members of said forum who think that the slap was needed, but not necessary, I say that’s bull. Yuzuki messed around with Haruto at Hiroshima. Little did Haruto know that this Yuzuki Eba’s feelings for him was JUST ONE BIG STANKING LIE! And she made another lie to cover another lie. Now, she is seeing the reward of her lies: Haruto would leave her life FOREVER. Pending his conversation with Kiyomi. Yes, Yuzuki Eba is NO goddess. In my mind, she is nothing more than a Mitsuko. I have lost all sympathy for a woman who can do this to someone she purports to love. Her day would soon come. Guys like this OM Forums member are almost never challenged. An ego needs to be crushed like this.

I would like to get you into the rhythm of the celebrations of last weekend by talking about IchiRuki and Fade to Black, the Bleach anime movie that is still having people scratching their heads. I would like to talk about my views about this new lady, Kiyomi, who slaps the taste out of Yuzuki Eba in the latest chapter of Kimi No Iru Machi, no. XCV (95). Kiyomi, judging from the kanji and the expressions on her face, she lectures Haruto on something. The next day Haruto went into Kazama’s hosptial room he see both Yuzuki and Kiyomi converge on Kazama. Eba tried to place nice with Kiyomi, but she comes within three feet of Yuzuki and slaps her. The last page shows Kiyomi giving Yuzuki a earful, Yuzuki feels her left cheek and is shocked. Simply put, Yuzuki is getting what she deserves. Let me explain. Yuzuki is hurting both Kazama and Haruto. She is hurting Kazama because she is denying him the surgery that will save his life. Yuzuki is hurting Haruto for contless reasons, the primary one being that she left Hiroshima in a hurry, and left Haruto a note that didn’t make much sense. So I guess Kiyomi is p-o’ed over this, and she is working her frustrations on two people – Haruto for not being a man, and Yuzuki for hurting her close friend. There can only be two logical explanations for this – Kazama brought this upon himself for creating the situation; and Haruto brought this upon himself for chasing after Eba in the first place.
