But first, a little site news. I am sorry for the absence. I have recently moved to a better location next to downtown Montgomery, so I can be able to walk to my favorite destinations downtown (wanna join me at the Alley?) So I will make it up with some fresh stuff, including the pictures I am about to show you.
I was cruising through GossipGamers and I found these pictures of console-inspired building designs. Now, I am pretty sure these are PhotoShopped, but I show, you decide.
First up is a buliding in the shape of a DS…
I think the top screen is going to be where the construction crew will try to put into place the ida-know-how-many-inches HD screen…
Next, an NES-style building…
Where’s the entrance? Oh, maybe the cartridge slot… That’s gonna be a really loong staircase…
Finally, a building with a PS3 theme to it…
How they got the figure right, I may never know…
Thanks to my friends at GossipGamers for these pics!
today I want to talk about this new game that Joe showed me about a number of days ago. Now anyone who has heard me for a great little while knows my Ichikia posts. There exists nothing but mess all around as Rukia puts up with another day of Ichigo’s constant BS. This is a love-hate relationship, which means that both of them love and hate each other. Now I want you to picture that there is another egomaniac like Ichigo in the RPG universe. We have found him. Ladies and gentlemen, say hello to Crais Sewell. This man is mad with anything, even kids, which strikes me as downright low. Wanna hear some proof? [cut] When he learned that he got a got the first thing he asked for was the down payment. He got it… and was weaseled right outta it! Here’s the exchange. [cut] The next thing Crais needed to know was his new employer. it was a little kid, Sophie. He got mad about that and the song she was singing. I see no reason why one would get mad over a little girl singing. Listen. [cut] And so the crazy adventures of Crais and Sophie began. I like watching the two of them talk, because for the same reason why I continue to watch the Kurosaki-Kuchiki comedy tour – it make the game fun. Oh, and another point, both Ichigo and Crais are voiced by the same voice actor, Johnny von Bosh. I guess that’s his preference – the cold, emotioness jerk.
Most recently, I was given the chance to watch game play videos of Mega Man X. And let me say that it brings back memories. Sometime during my existence as a gamer, I see Joe defeat every single Robot Master in Mega Man 2. (he also sacked Wily Castle.) Thus lead to one of my first gaming lessons – not everything is easy. When I attempted to oust Air Man, I had a Game Over on the last leg of the stage. Now call me pitiful, but this was a chance to learn from my mistakes. Soon afterwards, I learned to jump at specific points in the stages. It is learning experiences like this that mold me into a better gamer and competitor.
